Hi! I'm April.
Have you gone through a situation that caused you to feel stressed, exhausted, or overwhelmed? Are you rebuilding after a traumatic or painful event? Are you having a hard time finding anyone who understands what it has been like to be you? Are you struggling to feel like yourself again?
I am a professional counselor with over 20 years experience.
But more importantly, I am a real person who has lived through challenges too.
I'm a mom of adult twin daughters, I love playing guitar, golf, remodeling projects, being outside, crafting and trying new things.
I live my life on my terms.
I believe that finding power in the things that make you "YOU" is the the key to mental wellbeing and recovery from trauma. I am not a perfect person, but I live an authentic life, and I'd love to help you live your best life too.
I am a trauma survivor, have struggled with PTSD, depression, and anxiety, and have been through divorce. I'm an expert on trauma, relationships, depression, anxiety, and parenting. I like to think of myself as a master at rebuilding after struggles, and I use humor and compassion to help my people do the same.
