Things feel off and hardly anything feels like it used to for you. Somewhere you lost your sense of self, and everything is so overwhelming it's hard to know how to begin finding solid ground again. It's so hard to think about sitting down with a therapist to talk about all of this when there is so much confusion and noise. As an artist, I know how it is when words don't work. We can use shape and color, texture and play as the first place to start. No skill is needed to do art therapy.
I'd love to get curious and explore how we can use creativity as a healing tool for trauma, grief, anxiety or depression. Even when this part of you feels turned-off or disconnected from your present situation, we can work together to uncover how it will help you in the change making process.
Not knowing what's wrong, or why your experiences aren't the way you want them can happen at different phases of our growth. Or maybe you do know exactly what the struggle is and are tired of feeling alone in it. We can co-create the way we approach therapy and navigate what you're going through together. Women's Anxiety Support (ages 25-35) Jan 18-Feb 22
Anxiety can take many forms and lead us to overwhelm and even isolation. In this 6 week art therapy group we will use art materials to explore our anxious triggers, how anxiety shows up internally, coping mechanisms, and tools to carry with you to help manage it. You don't have to carry the weight of anxiety alone! You are invited to meet with others in support of some healing creativity and care for this difficult experience.
