My role in the scope of my practice is being a guide providing a safe, empathetic, and no judgement space for us to work together as we find the right path for you to follow. I believe in a balanced life style connecting the mind with the body while making sure your basic needs are met. I find working together on issues related to trauma, abandonment, attachment, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and transitioning from one life experience to the next, very rewarding. I have experience with children, families, youth, teenagers, adults and the aging population.
Individuals who are transitioning include those ending their school environment, foster care children and families, incarcerated and transitioning back into their community, substance abuse to abstinence, aging, or one who is seeking employment. PTSD, abandonment, attachment, anxiety, and depression can be barriers to transitioning & meeting goals.
I work with a collective group of therapists in the community who support each other in maintaining a mindful practice. Helping you to find wellness is my goal. One can increase a high level of self-awareness by recognizing the mind-body connection; both physical and mental health will improve.
