April is experienced in working with individuals and families including children, adolescents, and adults of various socioeconomic backgrounds, cultures, and beliefs. Additionally, she has experience working with individuals who experience anger, defiance, emotional dysregulation, relationship difficulties, family relational problems, depression, anxiety, autism, and other mental health disorders. April treats clients from a person-centered approach and implements various modalities depending on the individual’s needs.
Such modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eco-Systemic Family Therapy (ESFT), Play Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based Interventions, and Motivational Interviewing (MI). April is also trauma-informed and welcomes the opportunity to work with Trauma-Impacted families, children, and adolescents.
