She went on to pursue a masters of education and a Ph.D. in human sexuality from Widener University.
April's clinical experience includes drug and alcohol addiction treatment , working with women and families impacted by domestic violence, and working in private practice with individuals and couples expressing issues in their sexual relationships.
April is a trained clinical therapist with experience addressing many general psychological concerns including depression, anxiety and self-esteem. In addition to the general clinical training, April has done extensive research on body image and sexual satisfaction.
