Or are you grieving the death of a loved one? I am a licensed independent clinical social worker with 25 years of experience with expertise in adjustment to major life changes, the process of making big later-life decisions, grief and loss, coping with disability and/or loss of independence, dementia, elder abuse and neglect, harm reduction, managing anxiety and depression, and the aging process. I take a holistic approach, incorporating mind, body, and spirit.
I listen non-judgmentally, offer deep support and acceptance, provide feedback and gentle challenge, offer techniques for addressing your issues, and have a conversational (versus one-way) therapy style. My approach is from the heart, my perspective is LGBTQ-informed and actively spiritual, though non-denominational.
I am available to meet by Zoom. I also have a limited number of slots available for in-home sessions (in Medford, Winchester, Arlington, Malden, Somerville, Cambridge).
