Hi! I’m April, and I have a special interest in supporting women through the unique challenges we may encounter across different stages of life. I also work with children ages five and up, as well as teens and adults who are facing all kinds of mental health challenges - things like anxiety, stress, trauma, school struggles, career confusion, health issues, or those “What is my life even right now?” moments.
My approach is based on curiosity and respect. Sometimes, when we feel stuck, working with a supportive therapist helps build new clarity and insight. We can grow by exploring how our brains work and how to work with our brains. My job is to walk alongside you as a supportive guide, offering a fresh perspective and space to figure things out.
Part of what drives my work is my own experience with the life-changing impact of trauma-informed therapy. For many of us, reaching out to a new therapist can be the most intimidating part of the whole process.
