In my practice, you will find a welcoming and serene atmosphere, and a kind, nonjudgmental therapist with 20+ years of experience working with people facing challenges in their lives. I specialize in treating people who have experienced trauma (including complex trauma or C-PTSD), loss, or grief, as well as anxiety and depression. I also assist patients with parenting education and techniques. I have a passion for working with teens and young adults.
I tailor treatment to the specific individual, as I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. I focus on being attuned to my patients' needs and goals and work together with them toward better understanding themselves.
I also have a specialty in adoption - working with birth parents, adoptive parents & siblings, and adoptive children. I have specialized training in supporting women during pregnancy and post-partum, which is often an unexpectedly challenging time.
