Hi, I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Georgia. I received my Masters in Social Work from the University of Georgia and have been practicing over 30 years. I am passionate, hard-working, and my goal is to create a safe and supportive environment while assisting you with your healing, finding a balance, and helping you become the person you were created to become. I enjoy working with people of all ages and diverse backgrounds. My experiences include but are not limited to providing social services and counseling working with children, adolescents, and adults.
I am trained in Cognitive and Dialetical Behavior therapies, having earned certifications in each, and I have used my training for over 30 years. These therapies work well for clients who are willing to focus on current thinking patterns and behaviors to identify and challenge negative thoughts/emotions. I also utilize Brief Solution Focused Therapy as well.
I am an advocate for my clients and able to comprehensively think through and problem solve issues and barriers. I believe in meeting the client where they are, working with them to reach their goals without imposing judgement. Compassion, loyalty, and dedication are skills I bring to the therapeutic alliance, which helps to build a relationship of trust.
