Accepting new clients located in Ohio and Virginia for secure video sessions. Many of us can find ourselves in a space of discourse throughout our lives. It can be difficult to face these challenges head-on without extra support. Through building a compassionate and supportive therapeutic relationship, we can work together to foster an environment for healthy exploration and seek the change you might want or need. I utilize neuroscience-based approaches to address dysregulation within our nervous systems, bodies, and minds that may be contributing to current and ongoing challenges.
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy and have completed certification training in Applied Polyvagal Theory in Therapeutic Yoga. Additionally, I offer several empirically-supported modalities including Somatic-Focused techniques, Attachment, Ego State, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches.
I am happy you have found yourself here, as making this first step can be challenging. I strive to create the supportive environment you might be missing. My style is relaxed, compassionate, empathetic, unconditionally supportive, and infused with humor. I would be overjoyed to further assist you on your healing journey.
