If anxiety is loud, old wounds keep resurfacing, or you feel stuck repeating the same painful patterns in relationships, you are not alone. Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, or unsure how they got here. Therapy can be a place to slow down, breathe, and understand yourself. My approach is warm, relational, and collaborative. I strive to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are—without judgment, pressure, or the feeling that you need to explain yourself perfectly. Together, we can slow things down, explore your experiences, and begin to understand the patterns that shape your inner world.

I love working with individuals in the big transition stages of life. I have a passion for helping patients sort out the often confusing and disorienting realization that there is no "right" way to do things. My experience and passion lies in working with trauma and the resolution of trauma. The journey back from a trauma/ or series of traumas is all about processing the "then" through the lens of "now" that allows us to better navigate the things we have survived. The journey is about figuring out a happy medium between your way and what is acceptable to those that love and support you.

I work with people who find themselves ready to work on trauma, major transitions, loss and grief, and unexpected life-happenings. I enjoy exploring someone's inherent inner wisdom to reach dynamic solutions. I live for the epiphany, the "ah-ha!" moment when everything suddenly seems to make sense. Collaboration is vital, and I delight in standing beside and supporting people during powerful inner work. I have a strengths-based, relationship-first, reflective listening approach. I work together with clients on trauma and core beliefs to shift those and patterns of less helpful thoughts. I love seeking creativity in therapy as well.

I am ready for the patient who is ready for the work. I came to this field after being inspired by some of the great forerunners of the field. Introspective work appeals to my sense of analytical inquiry. I am coming to each session with a readiness to tackle and analyze the problem that is getting between where you are and where you want to be. I love working with substance use/abuse behaviors and have spent a portion of my career investing in patients who are at all levels of recovery. I also enjoy working with patients who just want to make small changes.
