About
If you’re struggling in your marriage, you’re not alone. You might be looking for a therapist because you want to figure out a way to make the pain in your relationship go away. Perhaps, you want to connect more deeply. I’m here to help and I’ve helped many people just like you. Marriage is hard. It’s even harder if you never witnessed a healthy marriage. As humans, we are creatures of habit and we tend to repeat the same patterns and create similar relationships to our parents.
If you identify as south Asian, first generation, or immigrant there is an added layer of shame that comes with admitting you need help. We are taught to keep our problems to ourselves and be strong. As a first generation South Asian American woman, I understand that asking for help is hard.
My goal is to offer you a safe space where you can be honest with yourself and together we can make your relationships more satisfying by increasing self-awareness and understanding your roles in relationships.
