Welcome! My name's David Flack. I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Substance Use Disorders Professional. For over two decades, I’ve provided counseling to adolescents and young adults with mental health challenges, substance use disorders, and histories of trauma. I can help you, too. Together, we'll make choices about what to change, identify behaviors to leave behind, and develop the insight and skills needed for the journey ahead.
I meet exclusively with teen guys, emerging adult males, and trans youth addressing a variety of mental health and behavioral concerns. I have significant experience treating depression, trauma, substance use, behavioral addictions, intrusive thoughts, and LGBTQ+ topics. I frequently meet with adopted teens, gifted youth, and neurodiverse individuals.
Many of my clients have been in counseling before and found cookie cutter approaches to therapy just didn't work for them. Don't worry, we won't be doing any of that.
