I approach most client issues as the result of your relationship with the world around you, we will take a close look at you-in-context. I frequently utilize mindfulness techniques within evidenced-based modalities (such as ACT, MBCT CBT, behavioral activation and motivational interviewing). I treat individuals, couples and families; adolescents (ages 16 and up) to older adults. Professional interest include treatment of anxiety, men's issues, and LGBTQ. While I accept only a few insurances, I will bill your insurance company if I am out-of-network. Many insurance plans have partial reimbursement for out-of-network providers.
I work with couples, women, men (and everyone in between), as well as older adults. We will focus on increasing self awareness and challenging self-destructive messages. I primarily utilize a humanistic and mindful approach but always tailor my method to fit the needs of the client.
