I have a little over 20 years in the social service and mental health field. I have worked within schools, hospitals, prisons, and community mental health agencies in California, Oregon, and Washington.
I provide services to children, adolescents, and adults. I see children and adolescents on the Spectrum. The majority of individuals that I work with struggle with anxiety and mood disorders, PTSD, trauma, interpersonal dysfunction, chronic pain, and life transitions. I work with individuals, families & couples.
My interventions are based on Cognit Behavioral Therapy, in particular, imagery and desensitization for certain anxiety disorders & Time-Limited Dynamic Psychotherapy for interpersonal dysfunctions. I will incorporate mindfulness, distress tolerance & emotional regulation skills, social skills training and techniques of Non-Violent Communication in therapy.
