I specialize in treating teens, adolescents, couples and families dealing with depression, anxiety, relationship instability, academic/screen-time concerns, and substance abuse issues. My clinical experience working in the school system helped me gain expertise in the 504/IEP assessment process. I also have extensive practice working with marriages in crises- I've been able to form alliances with highly conflicted couples. I've also worked with athletes and coaches on performance improvement and career transition.
My focus is on developing an individualized treatment plan based on your own personal goals. My therapeutic approach is collaborative- I'm able to use a variety of treatment techniques based on your objectives. I also offer intensive couples counseling options upon request.
I'm licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in Washington and I'm a clinical member of AAMFT. I have my Master's degree from Pepperdine University and I've taught Clinical Psychology and Journalism courses at Antioch University. I also have a background in broadcast journalism.
