My approach focuses on helping people learn to live through (not against) their emotional pain. The aim of our work will be to understand, with increasing depth and appreciation over time, things that feel unbearable and impossible to change. In my experience this approach done in partnership can facilitate lasting changes in a person's life. I strive to create a supportive and encouraging environment where a person can feel safe to explore the challenges they are facing, and work towards a healthier state of mind.
I specialize in working with people who struggle with profound mental health challenges, addictions, and those who may need the support of multiple sessions per week. The people I work with are often sensitive, creative, and experience a deep sense of isolation due to their emotional pain.
My practice is located in Northgate. I know from experience, the hardest part is reaching out to begin.
