I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 14 years of experience helping individuals, couples and families work through and learn how to cope with interpersonal relationship conflicts, anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, parenting and behavioral issues. I address current issues that originally bring them to counseling as well as provide them with tools to manage things that arise in the future.

Through my counseling practice, I desire to empower others to achieve a balanced state of wellbeing, discover their self-worth, reach their fullest potential, and live joyfully. Past trauma and current life transitions can be painful and difficult; however, I believe that each of us has the ability to heal and grow stronger. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in counseling for individuals, couples, families and children. I am also certified as a Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist by the Center for Traumatic Stress in Children and Adolescents and have over nine years experience in counseling trauma and abuse victims of all ages, including adults. I have clinical experience as well with depression, traumatic grief and parenting issues. I am also certified in Parent Child Interaction Therapy. With compassion, I work with each individual to help them build on their personal strengths so we can attain healing and personal growth.

I conducted my year-long internship in a local behavioral hospital, where I gained experience working with clients of all ages and presenting concerns.
