I work with children, teens and adults, offering a space to be heard, known and understood. I have experience working with depression, anxiety, self harm, hopelessness, suicidal thoughts, relationship issues as well as Christian counseling. Though not a registered play therapist I really love working alongside parents to help address family or child/teen behavioral concerns. I have worked in a variety of settings ranging from hospitals and out-patient clinics to private practice.
When working with children, I use both non directive (child centered) and directive play therapy teaching social skills, role playing or modeling, mindfulness, and coping skills. I strive to offer a safe environment where all clients feel welcome and listened to.
