Welcome. I am glad you are here and appreciate you reading my bio. My therapy practice is for women who seek to resolve underlying issues that often cause high anxiety, depression and negative self talk. The women I see have often already overcome many obstacles in life. They may be at a transitional point with a relationship, family, health or career or be dealing with loss. They may carry the wounds from unmet childhood needs or past or recent trauma. They are ready to make the commitment to face their issues and begin to heal.
Initially, I assist my clients to gain a better understanding and awareness of their emotions and reactions. We build resources for managing triggers and challenges. Integrating EMDR, somatic and other research based therapies, I help the client resolve past traumas and barriers as they move forward towards their personal goals and values.
Facing difficult life issues is challenge on its own. I offer a safe and nurturing space for us to develop a relationship and tools to work together to bring resolution.
