To consult, visit: awakenedheartpdx.com/book-with-us .. Therapy connects you to your authentic self, an act of self-love. It is a leap of reconnection to the deeper layers within you that fuel growth, acceptance and contentment. I offer tools to support you as you evolve, optimizing your present moment. With a psychodynamic lens, I can connect you to the various "selfs" you've inhabited through the years. And with mindfulness, I connect you to awakening your full self, shedding limiting beliefs and reframing narratives. Whether your needs are focused on short-term, or long-term, I welcome them.
I use empathic, active and supportive listening with a strengths-based approach. I use mindfulness & guided meditation. I want to empower you and your narrative, and assist you in forming positive, cognitive reframes. At times, underlying beliefs can be misleading and create inner discord. I want to support you in pausing and redirecting thought patterns.
I create a safe, transparent space, that is compassionate, collaborative, welcoming and meets you exactly where you are that day. I am client-centered, with a non-judgmental, open-minded and curious lens. I believe that the client-therapist relationship is an important anchor in therapy. I honor your time, your needs, and the sharing of your journey.
