My name is Manoli Kalouris and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of Ohio. I believe that therapists aren’t one-size-fits-all, and that the therapeutic relationship plays a vital role in achieving your ultimate potential for healing and growth. That is why I like to take a casual approach while using evidence-based practices & find that this makes clients the most comfortable beginning a not so comfortable process of therapy.

I am currently accepting new clients with morning and afternoon availability! Sometimes life throws unexpected surprises and circumstances at us. Often it can be difficult to find someone who understands and can help you through it. What makes the therapeutic relationship unique is having a place to share and process feelings without judgement. As a counselor I strive to help my clients feel comfortable and provide the best care possible. I work with children, adolescents, and adults providing individual, couples, and family therapy.

I have experience working with individuals struggling with grief and loss, trauma, depression, anxiety, self-harm, sexual issues, addiction, and life transitions. I currently practice in a private practice setting in Ohio. Prior to moving into private practice, I worked in an outpatient substance-use treatment facility and also have experience in a university setting providing mental health services to college students.

As a therapist in the Insight Clinical Counseling and Wellness group, my goal is to help clients become their authentic selves. I utilize an integratve therapeutic process, incorporating trans- and gender-affirming therapy; mindfulness meditation training; poetry therapy and journaling; motivational interviewing; CBT; existential concerns, spirituality and religion. I graduated from Franciscan University in clinical mental health counseling with a focus in trauma care. The bulk of my experience is in individual and group therapy with people struggling with substance use, depression, anxiety, helping them manage life circumstances, coming from difficult pasts. I have also worked in trauma counseling at the residential, inpatient, and outpatient levels of care.

Some of my experience includes working with anxiety, depression, foster care and adoption, motherhood, and ADHD.

I strive to position myself alongside people while they embark on their personal journey of healing, restoration, and growth. Often the barriers to clients' success include issues related to codependency, self-image, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, poor communication and conflict resolution skills, and ineffective coping strategies. I am EMDR trained, and specialize in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, TF-CBT, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which helps me specialize through a trauma focused lens throughout the counseling process. I also enjoy to work with depression, anxiety, bipolar and/or other mood-related struggles. For younger children, I am experienced in play therapy to provide work in social skill areas and emotional regulation. My role is to walk alongside with you on your path to become whole.

Cathy completed her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Youngstown State University in 2000. Cathy continued her education in 2016, earning a Master of Social Work Degree from Youngstown State University in 2019. Cathy specializes in trauma, anxiety, depression, relationships, life/career issues, as well as identity and existential concerns.
