I am a clinical social worker with experience and interest in caring for children and adolescents, and working with parents and schools as partners. My style is practical and solution-focused, with emphasis on the relationship between the child and parents in an attempt to decrease conflict and hostility. With a background in a psychiatric setting, I also bring to my work experience with behavioral techniques, and a respect for parental decisions regarding medication use.
I also have clinical training in, and experience with, psychotherapy for adults with symptoms of anxiety, depression, anger management.
I try to include in my work a respect for the values and beliefs of people, including cultural, spiritual, educational.
