Being truly seen and understood can be profoundly healing. I provide resilience informed therapy that focuses on and builds upon each client’s individual innate strengths. Resilience is an ability to flexibly adapt to (which does not mean "accept") events that are challenging, adverse, and/or traumatic. Resilience is not a trait that you either have or do not have, but a set of strategies that can be learned and practiced. I offer resilience informed therapy as an overall approach to emotional wellness as well as an approach to trauma recovery.
