I work with those affected by anxiety, depression and trauma, as well as issues including life changes and self-esteem. My focus is on providing individual therapy.
I have completed training for EMDR Therapy, which is a highly effective treatment for the effects of trauma. I also utilize an eclectic approach incorporating components of CBT, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction techniques, DBT, MI, and Family Systems.
I have 15+ years of experience working in the mental health field as a whole at various levels of care, with 8 of those years in outpatient counseling. I also have previous experience working with an Art Therapist on how to blend the creative process with traditional talk therapy as clients desire.
