I have over 20 years experience and specialize in depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, and pregnancy/postpartum support and mood disorders. If you are concerned about certain life events, moods, or thoughts, counseling often helps to provide clarity, reassurance, and a way through. My goal is to work with you to find coping strategies, resolution, and increased well-being & peace of mind. I enjoy and have experience working with people from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds. I am an EMDR Therapist (EMDRIA trained). My office hours include evenings.
My approach is relational and psychodynamic (helping you find connections from the present to the past) and I utilize cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness/somatic, and trauma-focused strategies to help you with your goals and overall coping.
