In person sessions in the Charlotte area, telehealth across North Carolina and Georgia. Does anxiety run your life? Do you struggle to make sense of past hurts, to find meaning in the day to day, or to navigate relationships well? I work with adults who have experienced traumatic events, are facing life transitions such as divorce, new parenting, and career changes; individuals struggling with anxiety; and those who are wanting to make sense of and heal from past experiences.
I draw from multiple theories to customize my approach to you specifically. I often work with those who have previously been in therapy and have felt stuck; my approach is active and helps you move beyond cognitive understanding to actually feeling better. I have specialized training in trauma, EMDR, LGBTQIA+ populations, and relational dynamics.
In sessions, I create a comfortable, safe, and accepting atmosphere where my clients can explore the challenges they face. I've helped many individuals regain a sense of peace and purpose. My clients have described me as down to earth, easy to talk to, and direct. I welcome the opportunity to talk with you about the struggles you're facing- give me a call!
