Leading with a strengths based approach that unifies western psychology and the wisdom of eastern philosophy, we will work together through difficulties including—relationship issues, grief, life transitions, anxiety and depression—and transform these challenges into opportunities for growth and learning. Led by the belief that people are the experts regarding their own lives, we will collaborate to nonjudgmentally examine your inner life and develop new skills for emotional resilience. Armed with these tools, you will begin to see that you already possess the power to make the changes you desire.
In addition to being trauma and somatically informed as a therapist, I am also a registered yoga teacher as well as certified mindfulness meditation teacher. By weaving together techniques from yoga, mindfulness, and psychotherapy—including CBT, DBT, narrative and attachment—we will begin to increase your awareness and rediscover your sense of self.
