I am a Licensed Psychologist with significant experience in treating individuals across the lifespan on a wide range of presenting concerns (i.e., anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma, interpersonal difficulties, family-of-origin concerns, ethnic/racial diversity issues, and grief/loss). I also have extensive experience in conducting learning disability/ADHD, IMEs, military, N-648/immigration, and International Adoption evaluations. I specialize in employing culturally-sensitive and empirically-validated treatment approaches to assist my clients resolve emotional pain in order to live full and meaningful lives.
I am passionate about using Acceptance-Commitment Therapy, a powerful treatment tool that creates change through increasing one's psychological flexibility and openness in order to engage in more values-based behaviors. I am also Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)-trained. Additionally, I greatly enjoy supervising and training doctoral-level students/psychologists-in-training.
