Being a child in today's world can be terrifying. Frightened and anxious children exhibit many symptoms that can make life difficult for them and their loved ones. In much the same way, parenting can be terrifying and confusing. With 20 years experience, I come alongside children, parents, and adults and help them to love themselves, and heal the wounds that lead to this paralyzing fear. I will help you to regulate difficult emotions so that you can be present with each other. You will leave our time with tools to help you reconnect when things get tough.
Healing comes through relationship. I am trained in Synergetic Play Therapy. This is a blend of neuroscience, attachment and attunement based work, nervous system regulation and mindfulness. I also use a narrative approach, and together we look your life story to help you understand your relationships.
