Offering ONLINE sessions. It’s hard to be a woman! We feel like all the pressure is on us. We keep trying so hard to do it perfectly, but life still isn’t going the way we planned. It can be exhausting, not to mention overwhelming. And is anyone talking about how hard getting pregnant can be? It's supposed to just happen easily, but month after month the pregnancy tests keep coming back negative. It feels like our bodies are failing us.
And what about being a new mom? It’s different than we expected. It’s definitely not like what we see on social media or watch on tv. No one seems to understand how we’re feeling, not even our partner. We're sleep deprived, everyone is telling us about how to “mom” the right way, and we just feel bad. We may even have thoughts that are really scary.

Mindful Motherhood
We've teamed up with Women's Osteopathic Wellness to offer Mindful Motherhood group therapy to Asheville residents. This group prepares expectant mothers for the emotional challenges of the postpartum journey, along with pain/injury prevention from pregnancy through motherhood. Motherhood can be tough, and feelings of isolation/loneliness (and possible Postpartum Depression/Anxiety) after giving birth can feel overwhelming. Connect with women in the same phase of life, to make your postpartum experience smooth as possible. Research suggests group therapy for new mothers is more effective than individual sessions alone. Let's take a proactive approach for a smoother transition into motherhood.
