I work with individuals, couples and new parents going through various life transitions. Many people that come see me have difficulty coping with anxiety, depression and grief stemming from their relationships, a loss, career & academic issues, and/or identity issues. I provide compassionate support to my clients and assist them in gaining the coping tools, clarity, and communication skills they need to help them grow, even through the most challenging times. I help my clients see their strengths and teach them how to use them to implement solutions and better their lives.
My practice includes longer term psychotherapy as well as short term, solution-focused therapy, utilizing various therapeutic interventions to meet your needs. I have advanced training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Postpartum Mood and Anxiety Disorders.
The therapeutic experience is dynamic - intense, focused, humorous and, at times, challenging. Through the process, I will partner with you as you deepen your understanding of yourself and your experiences and enhance your focus on living a life that reflects what you find meaningful and important.
