I specialize in work with those who have been diagnosed with chronic illnesses, chronic pain, and other medical problems. I am dedicated to promoting emotional health in the face of physical adversity. In order to accomplish this primary goal, I offer a variety of services which clients may participate in and benefit from including individual & group psychotherapy, education, and skills training. Clients play an important role in achieving their goals in therapy, and I expect them to commit to actively participate in the therapeutic process.
My approach to therapy includes exploring the mind-body connection, the impact of behavior on health, and the influence of health and disease states on psychological factors with the patient. I also address depression, anxiety, grief, adjustment issues, relationship issues, and phase of life issues.
I graduated with my Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Southern California in 2004. I'm a Licensed Psychologist in the State of Colorado. I'm in private practice in Greenwood Village, Colorado with an emphasis in behavioral health psychology.
