I specialize in treating trauma/PTSD, depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety,parenting and relationship issues, military issues and personality disorders. I enjoy working with people of all ages, in individual, family and couples counseling and have experience working with military members and their families.
I have completed Level I/II of EMDR training and use this powerful and effective method to treat anxiety, trauma, abuse issues and PTSD. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy in my work with depression, bipolar disorder and for managing the many life issues we all face.
Developing mindfulness and healthy coping skills are an important part of my approach to counseling and I believe it is crucial to help people build upon their current strengths. I accept most forms of insurance and provide flexibility in payment through simple payment plans and sliding scale fees.
