About
Physical, Mental, Emotional and Spirituality stability is the path of walking in balance from the past, to the present and into the future. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, my focus is to apply the four principles of physical, mental, emotional and spirituality to address the soul wound to live in balance. It is my experience as a therapist working with diverse cultures, whether the soul wound is from the family of origin, past experiences as a child, or adult. Clients can change. Clients may choose a western or traditional path to healing the soul wound/ whole person by using the four principles.
Listening to the client, my approach in helping my client is to heal the soul wound is based on the “goodness of fit.” The client and I explore the path to heal the soul wound by choosing a western or traditional healing approach. The goodness of fit may mean choosing one western treatment modality over another or choosing a traditional healing approach.
I have training in a variety of western treatment modalities such as CBT, Solution Focus, Constructivism/ Deconstructivism, Family of Origin, Narrative Therapy and Schema Work. My scope of practice includes working with teenagers, adults and seniors. I have over 30 years of experience working with a variety of cultures.
