I work with adults who are in highly stressful professions but who are also often in need of being seen and understood as persons with identities outside of their professional roles. Many of my clients have hidden depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and relationship stressors. I have over thirty five years of experience in helping individuals reach healthy solutions to their complex problems. I provide a safe place to explore the many facets of my clients' complex identities.
My main area of specialization is with professionals who experience compassion fatigue/vicarious trauma. Careers that expose people to trauma all take a significant toll on a person's mental health, and our work will focus on helping you heal and find a sustainable path forward.
I work with clients using an integrated approach to help you believe in your own resiliency. My style is collaborative and empowering. Our therapy will be based upon building a solid, safe and trusting therapeutic relationship. My approach is gentle, while also persistent and steady as we invest in our work together.
