I’m Antoinette, a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate supervised by Aimee Thompson, MA, LPC-S, in Texas, working toward full licensure. Counseling is my calling, but far from my first chapter. My path has been shaped as a military veteran, a government employee, and a ministry leader. I bring professional training and deep life experience to my counseling work. As a mother and a grandmother, I have navigated a divorce after 31 years of marriage, healed from sexual assault, and endured the profound grief of losing children. Let me help you navigate through your valleys with compassion and respect with practical healing tools.
I offer trauma-informed care, identity counseling, and faith-based counseling for individuals ages 11 to 70. I help clients navigate: identity, self-worth, anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma recovery, grief/loss, military/veteran stressors, finding your voice, and expressing your emotions. I provide a safe space to discover your authentic self.
There is no one-size-fits-all approach to healing. I blend evidence-based counseling techniques with Christian principles to address the whole person. Identity counseling begins with creating a safe space where you can explore your emotions, values, experiences, and sense of self. I will help you grow, process, and reclaim your identity at your own pace.
