My ideal client is anyone that is trying to navigate a difficult situation in their lives. This may be a life altering decision and/or a barrier that has impacted several aspects of their lives, which may include relational, self-esteem and self worth, mental health regulation, and ongoing internal and external struggles.
I am an AMFT, trained in marriage and family modalities such as emotionally Focused therapy, narrative therapy, Bowen theory, and solution focused therapy. These are theories that help identify preferred outcomes, identify deep rooted issues, and help identify ways to move forward with past difficulties and remove barriers to allow us to cope/manage stress.
I believe in creating a safe space for people to be able to discuss their issues and challenges without judgement. In doing so I help to create an environment of validation and empathy. I assess treatment based upon one's goals and what they would like to achieve in therapy. I have an open door policy, meaning that you can re-enter therapy after termination.
