My name is Anthony DeRiso, and I’m a licensed counselor with over 15 years of experience supporting individuals across all stages of life. I work with children, teens, college students, and adults navigating a wide range of life challenges—from academic and social stress to career transitions, relationship issues, and managing anxiety, depression, or burnout. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of helping clients from diverse backgrounds develop the tools they need to cope, grow, and thrive. Additionally, I am a qualified supervisor able to work with newly licensed counseling associates working on full licensure.
I began my career as a middle school counselor, my practice has expanded to include extensive work with adults—whether managing early adulthood, balancing the demands of career and family, or seeking greater clarity and fulfillment in their lives. I believe the foundation of effective therapy is a strong, trusting relationship between counselor and client.
My approach is eclectic and personalized, grounded in empathy and respect. I meet clients where they are and help them recognize their own strengths, so they can build resilience and improve their quality of life. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space for all individuals—regardless of age or background—to be heard, understood, and empowered.
