I believe the most important part of therapy is having a connection and feeling comfortable with your therapist. My goal is to create a safe, comfortable, judgement free space for you to explore and examine aspects of your life that are causing distress. Together we will identify goals and strengths to empower you to make lasting changes and help you with inner peace and balance. I have over 20 years' experience working with adolescents, adults, and families who have struggled with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, emotional regulations issues, relationship issues, substance use, ADHD, grief, and trauma.
I have a very diverse range of experience, to include, providing home-based therapy to children/adolescents/adults and their families, school-based counseling and supports, & hospital based emergency psychiatric evaluations . I also, previously worked at a federal prison for 8 years and have been working in private practice for almost a decade.
Through a variety of modalities such as CBT, DBT, strengths based, and many others, I will find a person-centered collaborative therapy effective for you. Therapy is an opportunity to heal the connection to self and to others; I look forward to joining, supporting, and guiding you in your journey.
