Behavior is more complex than simple choice. Behaviors develop over time and are impacted by various internal and external factors. Our approach to facilitating behavior change recognizes that each individual's unique situation and the factors that contribute to their choices and behaviors can be understood. Together, we can use this understanding to create a plan for change. Two underutilized interventions for behavior change are cue desensitization and environmental engineering. We will join you in your environment in order to most effectively foster these changes in your life.
We offer in-home services, including therapy with a licensed provider and intensive case management. Cue desensitization is a collaborative process in which our clients are exposed to stressors while receiving intensive support. Environmental engineering involves making changes to your environment to make it more conducive to your changes in behavior.
We are happy to work with anyone who is experiencing addictive or avoidant behaviors. That includes people who want to stop a behavior completely, people who aren't certain they have a problem, or people who want to try to cut down on a behavior without stopping entirely.
