I have twelve years of experience providing therapy with adults, children, adolescents, and families. I strive to work with clients in a compassionate and collaborative way, to empower them to move beyond the challenges which keep them from living life abundantly. I use an eclectic approach, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Client-Centered Therapy, to assist clients in finding solutions to their challenges.
I started my career as a teacher, and then became a therapist. Combining the teaching skills and therapy skills has greatly enhanced my effectiveness as a therapist. My experience has provided me the opportunity to work with adults struggling with a variety of issues, as well as children and adolescents navigating school and family issues.
