My clients often tell me they feel cared about. I enjoy helping people find what works for them individually and provide a relaxing environment. Depression and anxiety are most often the symptoms to bring individuals into treatment, couples learn ways to be supportive of one another. I listen, make suggestions and offer techniques that will provide ways to get more out of daily life.
The specialty I most rely on to treat stress is "mindfulness" - focus and centering through guided relaxation.ways to approach relationships and the world. With couples I can help develop communication skills and offer a program to deepen their ways of listening to one another.
I have over thirty years experience in private practice, working in hospitals and with the military. It is a privilege for me to continue working in my practice. In a small community as well, legally I consider confidentiality essential.
