About
Becoming a parent is one of the most challenging transitions and transformations that a person can go through. It is full of difficulties and joys that are different for everyone. I offer counseling for pregnant and postpartum mothers. Symptoms of a perinatal mood disorder can begin during pregnancy, and up to 12 month post-delivery. The good news is that treatment of a perinatal mood disorder such as postpartum depression can be brief and effective. It's my goal to have you feeling better immediately and enjoying this special time in your life.
I also offer services for the LGBTQ+ community. This includes support and assistance in coming out, transitioning, navigating relationships, and building support systems. I truly believe that everyone deserves to live their lives being who they are, but in a way that feels supportive and safe.
I understand that each person, family, and couple is different. My approach is collaborative, and I strive to work with my clients in identifying what will be most effective for them in creating the healing experience they are seeking through counseling.
