As a therapist, it is important for me to assist individuals and couples in leading healthier and happier lives. I help my clients uncover and develop healthy coping skills, personal strengths, and insight into core values and beliefs. I also help my clients identify and overcome obstacles and challenges that continue to impact their functioning and happiness. By exhibiting sensitivity and complete acceptance, I help to set the foundation for personal growth. The therapeutic relationship is very important in this process and I do everything I can to make my clients feel safe and comfortable in talking about difficult issues.
I work with adolescents, adults and couples who struggle with such issues as marital conflict, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, relationship issues, grief, abuse, and major life changes. I use a variety of treatment methods that have been researched and proven effective. I am currently in Private Practice and work with a broad spectrum of patients.
I provide support and practical feedback to help my clients effectively address their personal struggles.
