Hello! I have earned my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I enjoy working with teenagers, adults, and older adults on issues related to depression, anxiety, grief and loss, identity, trauma, and life transitions. In session, I like to be interactive and will use traditional talk therapy along with creative methods for communicating. Many people enjoy using arts, crafts, music, and movement in session, so I help foster an environment that helps people feel safe enough to express themselves through these modalities.
I am available Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays in our Des Moines office location and offer the choice of in-person and/or virtual (Telehealth) appointments.
I am available on Thursdays and Fridays for students located at the Ankeny Centennial High School and am able to meet with students in the school building during school hours.

During our first session together, I will take my time to get to know you and understand what you are hoping to achieve out of therapy.
