Women face a unique set of challenges when it comes to mental health. Feeling overwhelmed by depression, anxiety, and panic makes day-to-day life more difficult than it should be. Often these struggles come along with poor eating and sleeping habits, trouble focusing, and a lack of self-confidence and self-love. Many times, the root of these challenges is trauma or multiple traumas. It's normal to feel worried about what therapy will be like. My priority is to create an environment where the client feels safe to tell me exactly how they feel, what’s working, and what they need.
My style is integrative because I know each of my clients has a unique human experience. I am trained extensively in many styles and orientations, including cognitive, somatic, person-centered, mindfulness, and strengths-based approaches. It’s all about you specifically, and together we will ensure that the approach we use is a good fit.
My sessions are not stuffy. My clients and I discuss a lot of heavy issues, and we also laugh a lot. If you are still reading my profile maybe something that I said resonates with you. Caregiver's Collective
Caregivers Collective is a therapeutic support group for parents and caregivers of children with special needs. This small, closed group offers a space to process the emotional impact of caregiving—including grief, stress, guilt, and relational strain—while connecting with others who truly understand. Each session blends psychoeducation, guided discussion, and practical tools for nervous system regulation and relational balance. Facilitated by therapist and parent Annie Carmichael, the group focuses on reducing isolation, fostering self-compassion, and rebuilding resilience in the caregiving journey. The group begins in January of 2026 and will be offered both virtually and in person.
