I am trained in Emotionally-Focused Couples and Family Therapy (EFT) and do individual therapy for teens (12+) and adults. In addition to my professional training, my therapy is informed by my previous work as a classroom teacher, school leader, and wilderness therapy guide. I strive to create a warm environment where clients feel safe to bring all parts of themselves. I see my clients as collaborators, and if you choose to work with me, we will work together to set goals, to evaluate our progress and to respond to your needs as they evolve.
I work with adults focusing on anxiety, depression, identity exploration, burnout, boundaries, perfectionism, and relationship difficulties. With adolescents, I support identity exploration, balancing social, academic and family pressures, and the challenges of navigating what can be tumultuous and overwhelming middle and high school years.
My approach is deeply attuned to the unique needs and experiences of each person I work with. I operate from a trauma-informed perspective, recognizing the profound impact that past experiences have on one's well-being. I am proud to foster an inclusive and accepting space for individuals of all identities, valuing the richness each person brings to therapy.
