About
You may have reached a point in your life where your usual way of coping is not working as well. With adversity, I believe is a window of opportunity for you to gain insight into your blindspots, heal from emotional pain, and live with more clarity, intention, and confidence. With over 10 years of clinical experience, I have had the privilege to guide clients through difficult times and witness their positive growth and change. I especially have enjoyed working with culturally and ethnically diverse adults at many university counseling centers providing both individual and couples therapy.
My clinical specialties are in healthy intimate relationships, stress, anxiety, depression, mindfulness, self-esteem, identity development, life transitions, and family concerns. I have also led a Relationship support group called “What is Love” for many years and am passionate about improving one's intimacy, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
My work style is collaborative, relational, and centered on your strengths, needs and concerns. I welcome you to contact me for a free 15 minute phone consultation to discuss whether I can be a good match for your therapy needs and goals. I wish you the best in your therapy search.
