Sometimes the hardest part is taking the first step to reach out and ask for help. I'm glad you're hear to learn more about my areas of specialty and communication style. My name is Annette Humberson and I've been a Social Worker for over 25 years. I have counseled people of all ages from 19 to 90+, with issues throughout their lifespan. Every person has their own story and experiences. My approach is very down to earth with compassion and acceptance to who you are, what you are struggling with, and how you would like to envision your life differently moving forward.
I have extensive experience in the medical field specializing in coping with short and long term illness, caregiver issues and stressors, addiction, end of life, hospice, bereavement, grief, and disability. I also support people who are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma and life changes.
